Why ban smoking in the Union? Smoking causes lung cancer, bronchitis, heart
disease, and erectile dysfunction. Passive smoking is known to cause asthma.

Smoking is not a nice habit - your clothes stink after a night out at the Union,
even if you don't smoke. It affects not only the smoker, but those around them.
People with asthma are being excluded from the Union.

But won't the Union lose money? The example of Leeds is not a good one - Leeds
is in a city, surrounded by alternative venues. Leeds attempted a 'trial'
ban, and didn't have a referendum - only an AGM. We're giving you the choice -
